Fewer than 20 examples of the original “Skipperera” reference 7754 have ever been found, making it incredibly rare and sought after among vintage watch collectors. The TAG Heuer Limited Edition Carrera Skipper for HODINKEE is available in a limited run of 125 pieces, and each piece is individually numbered “XXX/125” around the rim of the sapphire caseback. Each watch will be accompanied by a trio of straps, including a TAG Heuer blue leather strap with Heuer-signed deployant clasp, one grey NATO strap, and one orange NATO strap. A HODINKEE aged green leather strap is also available for purchase at a discounted price when you purchase the watch, and will be fitted with a Heuer-signed tang buckle.
